Contents of e-Newsletter e-Palaash From VC's DESK Dear Reader, I am happy to inform you that in order to reduce the time-gap and keep our stakeholders and well wishers updated with Key Developments at our University, it was decided to start a monthly e-Newsletter from current month onwards. Treasured Moments More than fifteen Entrepreneurs from Jharkhand, including a number of women entrepreneurs, were invited by the University to share their Entrepreneurship Journeys to motivate the students. Their efforts for the societal development was also recognized.The university also awarded its successful student entrepreneurs. Awards, Scholarships and Achievements Congratulations to Ms. Samriddhi Singh, a PhD scholar of The ICFAI University Jharkhand for winning the "Best Paper Award" for her paper on Social Entrepreneurship at "Global Outreach Management Research Education Conference & Awards 2019"organized by ISM, Patna. Seminars & workshops A workshop on Robotics conducted at ICFAI University Jharkhand. The ICFAI University, Jharkhand was excited to host Ms. Anshu Arora and her team from Wissensquelle Robotics for a workshop on Robotics. The students participated actively while learning about various modern technologies including 3D Printing. Research & Publications Our University, IUJ Journal of Managment is positively evaluated in the SJIF Journal Rank List evaluation process, which resulted in a score given SJIF 2019 = 6.148 (Scientific Journal Impact Factor Value for 2019). Extra-Curricular Activities ICFAI University Jharkhand celebrated National Sports Day with a friendly match between the students and the employees. Social Sensitivity ICFAI University provides platform to talented school going students of Simalia to present their traditional tribal dance performance during fresher Day. Tribal and folk dance program by the school students of Simalia Village was a highlight of the function. The University has been conducting remedial classes for them.
