- In order to equip the students with the latest developments in technology and industry, ICFAI University , Jharkhand conducts Seminars, Webinars, Panel discussion, Guest lectures etc by Industry Experts.
- An “Online Singing and Music Competition” was conducted by ICFAI University, Jharkhand.
- The event received overwhelming response, wherein over 32 students and faculty members not only from the University but also other educational institutions and working professionals from various organisations in and outside Ranchi, actively participated through Video Conferencing and sang songs in Hindi, Bengali and English.
- They also included some Mash-up songs. The program was thoroughly enjoyed by all the online viewers.
- Awards were declared for the top three singers. First, Second and Third prizes went to Ms Advika Ranjan, Mr Abhishek Kumar and Ms Swapnishi and Ms Trisha Deep respectively.
- The webinar on "How to manage Cyber Security Challenges during COVID-9 Times” was successfully organized by ICFAI University Jharkhand.
- Ms. Simi Deb, European Head, for Security Strategy, IBM , London, the major panellist has over 16 years of experience in providing Strategic Advisory services in the domain of Cyber Security to diverse sectors like Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, Telecom, Govt etc.
- The discussion was moderated by Prof. O.R.S Rao, Vice-Chancellor of ICFAI University, Jharkhand.

- A National Conference on Digital Transformation for Socio-Economic Development of Rural India was held at ICFAI University, Jharkhand campus today.
- Shri Pradeep Kumar Hazari, Special Secretary, Agriculture, Government of Jharkhand, Shri Bishnu Chandra Parida, Chief Operating Officer, Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society and Mr Abhay Soren, Manager, NABARD were the guests of honour.

- The Four Day Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning was conducted in association with Finland Technologies during 22nd to 25th October,2019.
- The workshop was inaugurated by Dr Gopal Pathak, Vice-Chancellor, Jharkhand University of Technology and Dr Nitesh Raj, Deputy Director, Higher Education, Govt of Jharkhand.

- ICFAI University, Jharkhand conducted 8th Panel Discussion on “Electrical Vehicle Technology – Trends and Career Opportunities”, in collaboration with Altair Engineering, a global leader in Computer Aided Engineering Solutions to industries like Automotive, Aerospace and Consumer Durables.

ICFAI University, Jharkhand signed an MOU of collaboration with NCDEX Institute of Commodity Markets and Research (NICR) to build deep knowledge and hands-on skills in the students of the University on Commodities Derivative Trading, a fast growing market in India.
After signing the MOU, ICFAI University , Jharkhand and NICR , jointly conducted a Virtual Panel Discussion on “Commodity Markets in India – Trends and Career Opportunities”, which was attended by students, faculty members and industry professional from all over India. The discussion was moderated by Prof. ORS Rao, Vice Chancellor, ICFAI University Jharkhand.
Industry experts for the panel discussion were Mr Aleen Mukherjee, Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Neeraj Shukla AVP and Senior Economist - Market Intelligence and Mr Ram Gopal Yadav, Dy Manager, Knowledge Management, all from NICR.
The International webinar on “The Exciting World of AI/ML - Applications and Career Prospects” was held as a part of Charcha Manch Series. The Industry expert was Dr Surya Prakash Kompalli, who did PhD in Artificial intelligence/ Machine Learning and is Visiting Faculty at Carnegie Mellon University in US. He worked earlier at Microsoft and HP Labs and is a co-founder of two startups.
Prof O R S Rao, Vice-Chancellor of the University was the moderator. A number of students, faculty members and industry personnel participated from across India.

Ms Simi Deb, European Head, for Security Strategy, IBM , London, the major panellist has over 16 years of experience in providing Strategic Advisory services in the domain of Cyber Security to diverse sectors like Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, Telecom, Govt etc . The discussion was moderated by Prof O R S Rao, Vice-Chancellor of ICFAI University, Jharkhand.
An online panel discussion was organised by ICFAI University , Jharkhand ,with Coal Industry experts , with focus on Career Prospects in Mining Industry . Panelists for the discussion were Sri B R Reddy, Former Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of South Eastern Coalfields (SECL) and Sri K K Mishra, Director(Technical), Coal Mine Planning and Development India (CMPDI). The discussion was moderated by Prof O R S Rao, Vice-Chancellor, ICFAI University, Jharkhand.
The discussion covered topics like impact of COVID-19 on Coal Industry, Reforms introduced by Government in Coal industry with regard to FDI and Revenue Sharing policies and their effect on the growth, productivity, competitiveness and employment in the Mining Industry, particularly for fresh graduates. Students asked very interesting questions ,which were answered by the panel.
An interesting Online Discussion on "Protection of Fundamental Rights and Corresponding Duty of the Government during COVID-19 Pandemic" was organized with the Constitutional Law Expert, Sri Amit Kumar Das, a Practicing Advocate in Jharkhand High Court. Mr Pradeep Bhattacharyya, another leading advocate from Dhanbad also joined the discussion. The session was moderated by Prof. ORS Rao,Vice Chancellor of ICFAI University Jharkhand.
The panel deliberated on seemingly conflicting issues like Protection of Right to health and Right to Movement and Carry trade and professions. A number of students of BBA-LLB (Hons) and LLB participated actively in the discussion.
Online Discussion on “How to build your IT career during the COVID-19 Crisis?" with IT expert , Mr. Visweswar Kandikonda, Sr. Manager,Tech Mahindra as part of Charcha Manch Series.
The session was moderated by Prof O R S Rao, Vice-Chancellor of ICFAI University Jharkhand. The discussion deliberated on impact of COVID-19 on IT industry , future outlook post COVID-19 , employment opportunities for freshers and advice to the students on how they should brace for the changes and challenges.
